the 60 hr gfs shows the problem. it's stuck between 2 high pressure systems and no upper trof to pick it up. also notice the high in the colorados driving south that will block any n movement. also since it has not been forecast to be a strong system ...it is driven by these factors. actually , if it strengenthed to a cat 2..it would be better as it would be driven NE.
